Loft Insulation
Having a well insulated loft is important when creating an energy efficient home, as this reduces heat loss and saves you money on bills. The current regulations for fibre loft insulation on the floor of the loft space is 270mm thick.
All insulation is correctly installed by cutting around any recessed lighting and electrical components - allowing them to breathe.

Loft Dust Lining
Sometimes lofts can be subject to some dirt and dust due to damaged roofing felt underneath the roof tiles. This causes debris from the roof line to enter the loft through small gaps over time.
To eliminate any dirt, dust & moisture from entering into the loft, a breathable membrane is installed internally. This clever sheet material is porous allowing correct ventilation and the loft space to breathe whilst providing protection to any outside elements. The internal dust lining membrane is fastened to the inside of roof slopes by being pulled taut and fastened with timber battens.
